I know this is fairly old wedding to blog from Restaurant Sipuli , but I just love the content and how happy the couple are so much that I can’t leave this one sit out. When chemistry is there in between a photographer and a couple, you know you come up with something amazing. That’s why it is crucial to find the right photographer for you.
Their wedding was celebrated in Restaurant Sipuli at their most spacious part, the Winter garden, which gets a lot of natural light thanks to its many sky facing windows. Needless to say it’s my favorite spot to shoot in. Likewise right next to it is the Uspenski cathedral which has a great view over Helsinki. Most of the portraits were taken in Kaivopuisto before the ceremony.
I used a lot of Nikkor 55mm f/1.2 here which gives a fairy tale looking soft result with lovely bokeh. It’s a very good lens for portraits.
